FAQ For Permanent Cosmetic Procedures

*Please note that we do not offer microblading.  All procedures are done with a digital rotary machine.

1. How long will my procedure take to heal?
Eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip procedures take 7-10 days of aftercare by client. The client will be given oral and written instructions at time of appointment. The second appointment will be booked for 6 weeks after first appointment to insure that the skin is completely healed. Make sure not to book your appointment if you are planning on going on a vacation in the sun and water during the initial healing time.

2. How much swelling will there be?
Eyebrows swell a little but it is not really visible. Eyeliner may be a little swollen for the first couple of days, it will appear as if you have been crying. The lip procedures swell the most and actually are the procedures that the client might want to warn their spouse or partner their appearance will be very different until the initial healing is done.

3. What will my procedure look like when I leave?
Eyebrows and eyeliner will appear darker and thicker than when they heal, due to the transitory swelling. Both eyebrows and eyeliner procedures will heal about 40% lighter then when first done. The client will be able to tell by the 7-10 healing period what the heal eyebrow and eyeliner really look like. The lip procedure is a little different. Lips will reduce in swelling and flake in the 7-10 initial healing period and will lighten about 60% from when first done. The color will fade in and out and it will take the full 6 weeks to see the true healed color.

4. Are there any health issues that might prevent me from having a permanent cosmetic procedure done?
Please refer to my attached health questionnaire and call if anything applies to you and you are unsure what this means for you.

5. How long will my procedure look good?
The most important thing is to take good care of your procedure once it heals. This means most importantly protecting it from the sun. The sun will fade your procedure. Depending on your individual chemistry and how well you take care of the procedure affects longevity. You should be able to go three+ years without refreshing. As a client, any refreshing of the procedure after the first two appointments is considered a paid appointment.

6. How long will my appointment take?
The first appointment will take about 2 to 3 hours. This time is for pre-numbing, paperwork , color choice, drawing on procedure and the actual procedure. The tattooing is usually about 45-60 min. The second appointment is typically about a hour.

7. Do I need a consult?
For eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips, most questions can be answered by this website or via phone or email and there is no need for a consult. In the case of scar camouflage or areola complex tattooing, a consult is needed. This consult is free, but if you decide to book an appointment there will be a non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to the cost of the procedure.
