About Raya

Raya Yeary, owner of Talon Studio Tattoo, has been tattooing professionally since 1996. She has a BFA degree in printmaking and sculpture from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.

A painter and graphic artist as well, Raya’s style is bold and bright. She loves the use of pattern, varies line weights, and bright color schemes. Raya is a native of Maryland, growing up in Rockville, Md.

She has worked and traveled throughout the states finally coming back to Maryland in 2004, meeting her now husband and becoming a mother in 2009.

Raya approaches each project with an artistic eye and a compassionate ear, so that she can best help her clients achieve satisfaction with what they have chosen to do. Raya’s main goal is to make sure the client is comfortable, making the whole process easy to understand.
