Important Information!!!
I am excited to announce that starting late 2011 or early 2012 I will be offering permanent cosmetics services (eyeliner, eyebrow, and lips). I will be offering this service at Classic Electric and maybe another location (to be announced in the future). Also I am sorry for the delay but I will be updating my tattoo portfolio gallery in the near future too, again it has been a busy 2 plus years with my son and things are just starting to settle down and get back to normal.
Raya
Raya's tattoo style has grown out of a sensitivity to regional trends and a close study of primitive tattooing. Her designs are alive with color and a bold use of line. Viewing tattoo as artform, and pursuing originality in her designs have marked her as one of the important emerging tattooist in the country.
Raya's skill is backed by a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied printmaking and sculpture. After a variety of apprenticeships she has been tattooing professionally since 1996.
